Atlanta, GA, February 11th, 2010 –We’re not even 8 weeks into 2010, yet Atlanta rapper Shawty Lo has been getting it in. He’s shot half a dozen videos with an all-star roster of talent that includes Ludacris and The Dream (“Atlanta, GA”), as well as Lil Wayne (“WTF”) and is set to release his new mixtape I’m Da Man Pt. 3 hosted by DJ Scream on Friday, February 12th. Although this officially marks the rapper’s fourth mixtape, it is the third installment of the I’m Da Man series, which started it all. Known for his “slow flow”, Shawty Lo is definitely back on the scene and on top of his game and beginning tomorrow at Noon, you can stream “I’m Da Man Pt. 3″ here on LiveMixtapes.com. Delivering 20 standout tracks, this disc is being described as “grown and street.” With appearances from the aforementioned artists, as well as Gucci Mane and Soulja Boy and members of his D4L camp, this mixtape is sure to be another classic. In addition to his music career, Shawty Lo has been active in the community, teaming up with Atlanta Falcons player Chauncey Davis’ foundation (The Chauncey Davis Foundation) in December to give away bikes in an effort to combat childhood obesity, a major contributor of juvenile diabetes. Shawty Lo recently formed his own foundation called L.O.L.O (Loving Our Little Ones), where he will not only sponsor various outreach programs throughout the community, but will primarily focus on diabetes education and prevention, an illness he suffers from. He will also be participating for a second time in the American Diabetes Association’s Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes annual fundraiser. While making music and performing are two of his primary passions, Shawty Lo found the time to pen an autobiographical book Down 4 Life that is sure to inspire, as well as cultivate a signature scent entitled LO Seduction that will be available in department stores nationwide this spring.
