How important is the Holy Spirit? What is the One Unforgivable sin? Can you explain the meaning of Blasphemy?
Mark 3:22-30 states,
“And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, ‘He has Beelzebub,’ and, ‘By the ruler of the demons He casts out demons.’ …‘Assuredly, I [Jesus] say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation;’ because they said, ‘He has an unclean spirit’” (NKJV, emphasis added / Note: The Pharisees made the same charge in Mat 9:34.).
In Matthew 12:31-32, Jesus says to the Pharisees,
“Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come” (NKJV, emphasis added).

The religion scholars from Jerusalem came down spreading rumors that he was working black magic, using devil tricks to impress them with spiritual power. Jesus confronted their slander with a story: “Does it make sense to send a devil to catch a devil, to use Satan to get rid of Satan? A constantly squabbling family disintegrates. If Satan were fighting Satan, there soon wouldn’t be any Satan left. Do you think it’s possible in broad daylight to enter the house of an awake, able-bodied man, and walk off with his possessions unless you tie him up first? Tie him up, though, and you can clean him out. “Listen to this carefully. I’m warning you. There’s nothing done or said that can’t be forgiven. But if you persist in your slanders against God’s Holy Spirit, you are repudiating the very One who forgives, sawing off the branch on which you’re sitting, severing by your own perversity all connection with the One who forgives.” He gave this warning because they were accusing him of being in league with Evil.
This is from the Message Bible. U cant speak or run God or the Holy Spirit name in the ground, its a sin that God just wont forgive. One reason i believe is for the sacrifice of giving his son for us, to give us another chance for something we brought on ourselves…. from a father perspective loving his child, sacrificing his life to help us and giving us another chance and we show total disrespect can not be forgiven… because its showing u have no respect for him giving up his son.
The Holy Spirit is THEE MOST IMPORTANT! Without out it you cannot get into the Kingdom Of Heaven! Yea must be first born again baptized in the Holy Spirit! It is our connection to the truth/ refuge , our comforter best friend through the lonely days. To denied the Holy Spirit is the only unforgiven sin because , anyone that denied the Holy Spirit has committed thee ultimate blasphem against God. Their for denying God , and what He has for his faithful servants Non believers.
