Can Jim Tressel handle the job as YSU President? Is He the BEST Man for the Job?

Both University communities are a very meaningful part of my professional history. I feel grateful that people from both University communities have expressed interest in my application. I believe it’s appropriate that I not comment any further during this part of the process.”
Tressel is currently Executive Vice President for Student Success at the University of Akron, and is one of several applicants for the vacant president’s position there as well.
Valley political, business and community leaders have been lobbying the YSU trustees to appoint Tressel to take the spot left vacant by Dr. Randy Dunn, who resigned after only seven months on the job.
