Don’t even get up in the pulpit and be a snake and play around with God. When you are Pastor you are held to a higher standard. How can demons be scared of a Pastor that just lusted with them? He finally came clean to his congregation about his 7 year affair and the word is he had his girlfriends on the payroll (6 figure salary) at the church. Easy access and taking care of them. it’s hard to have faith in God with men like this in the pulpit. No one is perfect but if you are going to screw everything moving just come to church and work on that pumpin demon. But don’t get up in the pulpit and lead when you are not a leader!

I still live this song and I think about how Men in the bible loved God and also dealt with the lust demon. I just hate when it makes it to the pulpit.

  1. No where in the Bible does it say that preachers are held to a higher standard. He is a man and the reason why God has no respect of man is because we are men. Even a man “after God’s heart” had a similar issue and was crooked. It is up to us to see that the responsibility is on us to get ourselves together and hold ourselves to a higher standard. He has no responsibility as a leader for anyone else’s soul but his own. He isn’t the conduit between his followers and God. They (we) have to seek God for ourselves!
Even the reporting of this story isn’t for the up-building of the Kingdom, support for our fellow man, or a prayer request, but of division, discourse sowing, and tearing down. He is a man who has issues like every other man. God is his judge and if we forget that, we are just as guilty as he is. There is no big sin and little sin. What he did was morally wrong. Let’s pray for him and let God deal with it accordingly.
Stop following man and truly follow God!
