The network issued a statement Today saying, “Black Jesus is a satire and one interpretation of the message of Jesus played out in modern day morality tales; and despite what some may consider a controversial depiction of Jesus, it is not the intent to offend any race or people of faith.”

  1. so what would you say if this show helped someone get saved or what have you? i think undue judgement is being passed on these actors and ADULT Swim. last time i check judgement was left to God. This show is showing basic relation…it’s funny that people talk about Jesus on one hand and said he hung with the lowest of the low and poorest of the poor but when a show depicts him doing just that then it’s blasphemous. It’s showing a Jesus (although the trailer hints at him just being crazy) that THOSE people can relate to and who is probably helping them through direct correlation because he’s going through the struggle with them. There is a hidden message in this show and i bet by the end of the season it will be revealed. Too bad people are too high on their horses and uptight to give it a chance.

  2. Christian Jackson I just signed the petition, it said only 63 more signatures needed well 62 now so those that want the show cancelled sign the petition Let’s Go!!

  3. Kingsmen White I like what Angelo P Veal said in his 11th post or so up about them having their constitutional rights of freedom of speech as christians have their rights to worship but we really don’t have freedom of religion any more they are fighting to take God out of Everything! my question is what’s going to happen when God is no longer allowed to be apart of what He created! can you imagine?

  4. Angelo P Veal you said something earlier and my little bro just said something similar. he said that the guy that produces these shows are making them in the eyes of how we would see each other to the point that he would even interview some people in Compton and ask them H oW would they like Jesus to be and then produce it in hopes that people in hoods around the world would like it and relate to it. #ThisIsGettingDeep

  5. Naw, when they stripped him if the boondocks they gave him something in return. I think in his anger he went as far out on a limb as he could to generate controversy as a perverbial fu
