ARLINGTON, Texas — After hiring Jay Z’s Roc Nation to represent him and hopefully help him become “an icon,” Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant said he is willing to discuss a contract extension during the season “if it’s right.”
That’s a change of policy for Bryant, who fired agent Eugene Parker recently. Bryant said this summer that he would cut off negotiations until the offseason if he didn’t reach an agreement with the Cowboys on a contract extension before the regular season started.

  1. I like the move not because iam a big Jay fan and a cowboy we saw what hova got Robinson Cano in seattle he about to get that paper for Dez and you know Jerry got it to give. Great move Dez.

  2. If we still talkin bout nation building?!then race is the ultimate of importance!! Example, the Arabs flip money 10xs, before it leaves their group! Same as whites, same as Asians! We the only ppl, that hate on each other, and wont spend money with each other.. white man water, is wetter than black man water, so we go spend with them!!

  3. Brothas own brands/businesses but the problem is many times we expect or want more “just because”.!!! Like what Jason is saying about mentoring, white agents been doing this for years & so many brothas have gone bankrupt and no one says anything but expect jay z to do it… Another problem about Us supporting Us is white america won’t, example BEATS… NFL all of a sudden signs a contract with bose… is BS

  4. Jason Jennings how important is race to you when doing business? if a black man owned these companies that blacks are rushing to buy from, would you celebrate them? what problems do we have from keeping the blacks from owning these products?

  6. Currently, in the U.S., the largest consumers are the tweens (8-12). Better than 60% of goods are produced and marketed for this group. blacks make up 13% of the population so I doubt if they are the biggest consumers. plus in order to be the biggest you would hve to have continuous wealth coming in to continue spending. what kind of billions are blacks spending on their 8-12 yr olds?? 40 million new iPhones sold in 3 months and I bet the blacks purchas d about 4 million out of the 40. no way they purchased the majority of that
