NATURI NAUGHTON TO HOST THE THIRD ANNUAL GEORGIA ENTERTAINMENT GALA

Naughton appeared on Broadway in the Tony Award winning musical, “Hairspray” for three years. Yet, the singer and actress is best known for her performances as Lil Kim in Fox Searchlight’s hit film “Notorious” and her role in MGM’s remake of the classic film “Fame”. Naughton has starred in Warner Bros.’ “Lottery Ticket” where she starred opposite Loretta Devine, Ice Cube, Mike Epps, and Bow Wow. On the small screen, the scarlet is known for her memorable guest performances on “Mad Men,” “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” her roles on “The Playboy Club” and “The Client List.” She also appeared on Broadway in the Tony Award winning musical, “Hairspray” for three years.
This year’s nominees will be selected in the following categories – – Outstanding Achievement Award, Georgia Entertainment Industry People to Watch Award, Georgia Best Actor Award, Georgia Rising Star Award, Georgia Best Independent Award in the subcategory of Film, Short Web Series, The Georgia Community Leader Award, Music Award, Georgia Entertainment Industry Outstanding Contribution Award and the Georgia Highlight Award.
