In an interview with ShowBiz411, Rashad — who played the iconic Claire Huxtable on “The Cosby Show” and also co-starred in the show’s sequel, “Cosby” — slammed the allegations against the comedian. “Forget these women,” Rashad told the entertainment website in an interview posted late Tuesday. “What you’re seeing is the destruction of a legacy. And I think it’s orchestrated.”

“Someone is determined to keep Bill Cosby off TV,” Rashad was quoted as saying. “And it’s worked.” After the allegations, TV Land pulled “Cosby Show” reruns, Netflix postponed a streaming Bill Cosby special and NBC pulled the plug on a sitcom it was developing with the comedian.

  1. Carl Young… Been wondering the same thing myself since this all started. No one has yet to come up with a concrete answer to that question. A lot of smoke & mirrors but no answers to specific questions. I see nothing has changed over here either. SMH!

  2. So far the the majority of these women were white and in America theire is a clear history of what happens to a black man who does anything against a white woman. O.J got away in court but still ended up in jail for life, Frank Sinatra has Sammie Davis Jr. eye put out becaue of this relationship with a white women, Emmitt Till was brutally murdered just for making a wrong gesture toward a white woman. Now tell me why these white women were afraid to press charges against a black man even if it was Bill Cosby who is still black and in america.
