Russell Simmons Sells Prepaid Debit Card Company RushCard for $147 Mil
Green Dot Corporation announced today that it has entered into an agreement to buy UniRush, LLC. UniRush is the company behind the popular RushCard prepaid debit card.
Green Dot has agreed to pay $147 million in cash (less some potential adjustments). It has also agreed to pay an earn-out of at least $20 million.
