$54,000 Worth of Counterfeit Jordans Seized by U.S. Customs

A shipment of counterfeit Air Jordan sneakers worth an impressive $54,715 was seized by U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents as they arrived at Washington Dulles International Airport last month.
Arriving in seven separate parcels on Dec. 15, the phony kicks came from China and were all destined for the same Alexandria, Va. address.
Customs agents completed the seizure Tuesday of a total of 400 pairs of various models of Jordans, and Customs agency trade experts verified them as counterfeit through Nike.
