For both Karlie and Ace, Red Room Bistro is more than just a business – it’s an ode to family and legacy. The two Trinidadian raised entrepreneurs’ connection as a force in the dining industry is rooted in their love for food and creating memorable experiences. The two, who have had major success with their first dining establishment, Johnny’s Chicken and Waffles, are excited to create a Bistro experience that merges their cultures’ love and admiration for food and fellowship with an upscale twist unlike anything Atlanta has experienced before.
As a self-taught restauranter, Ace, has become an emerging figure in the restaurant industry and dining world, gaining a reputation for creating and operating well over seven highly successful restaurant franchises, especially within the city of Atlanta, such as Crescent City Kitchen, Spice House, Johnny’s Chicken and Waffles, and many more. A venture that started in 2018 from a pivot to diversify his business portfolio outside of the real estate industry, has led Ace to become one of Atlanta’s go-to entrepreneurs developing and sustaining dining experiences within the city.
“I’m excited to join forces again with Karlie on this venture,” says Ace.“The restaurant industry can be both challenging and oversaturated, but our focus is clear–delivering great quality food and even greater customer service. Atlanta often carries a stigma of poor service, and we want to change that narrative by setting a new standard.”
Karlie Redd, a serial entrepreneur with a vast knowledge of restaurant experience brings her own expertise to the business, as a co-owner and operator of the Johnny’s Chicken and Waffles franchise based in College Park GA, where she has created a partnership that’s built on mutual respect, and a shared vision to provide quality customer service, which is a growing concern in Atlanta’s dining scene. Together, they promise to deliver an unforgettable American/Caribbean infused experience that establishes an expectation that is as much about quality and customer experience as it is about great food.
“Food and quality service have been a passion of mine since childhood,” Karlie Redd says. “With Red Room Bistro, I wanted to create more than just a restaurant. I wanted to create an experience. This will be a vibe unlike anything else in Atlanta, where great food, atmosphere, and unforgettable moments all come together.”
The restaurant’s unique concept is the perfect fit for Atlanta’s vibrant food scene, offering an upscale twist for a variety of audiences. The Bistro is slated to diversify Atlanta’s dining scene with a new twist of assorted menu options and unique in-house experiences, ushering in a new era of fine dining and exceptional service that is ensured to leave guests impressed with memorable quality service.
