Los Angeles jury found Tuesday that Pharrell Williams and Robin Thicke’s 2013 hit “Blurred Lines” infringed upon the copyright for Marvin Gaye’s 1977 “Got to Give It Up” and awarded $7.3 million to Gaye’s family.
The Gayes’ attorney, Richard Busch, told reporters that he had immediately filed for an injunction to stop the sale of “Blurred Lines.”
Well after that song was played to death summer ’13 I finally feel relief!!!
I never liked Robin Thicke anyway
There so little real authentic artistic people these days. Reruns and redos. The old music was original and creative.
Exactly!!!!! All they had to do is ask. And he tried to put the all the blame on Pharrel. Smh
It would of been cheaper to PAY and sample the music!!!!
No sympathy. Greed will bite you in the butt all the time.
They been in the game way to long for this mess
They should of knew better
Agree on the Real TIP! –
Wow! And Thicke tried to blame it on Pharrell
