BALTIMORE —State’s Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby said Friday she has probable cause to file criminal charges in the much publicized death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray who died while in police custody.

Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby has announced that six police officers have been charged in the death of Freddie Gray.

One officer — the driver of the police van — has been charged with several counts, including second-degree depraved-heart murder. Another officer has been charged with several counts, including manslaughter and involuntary manslaughter.

Two other officers have been charged with several counts, including involuntary manslaughter. And two other officers are charged with several counts, including second-degree assault.

  1. Seems interesting enough but let’s see which charges stick. I would like to think, it’s a turn in the right direction but without convictions, it’s just rhetoric..sounds good on paper. Not that sista Mosby won’t give it her best shot but there’s no Justice..Just Us..

  2. The attorney for the police union is about to cause another riot!!!!! “Officers did NOTHING wrong and this ‘rush to judgement’ saddens us. The officers are ALL deeply saddened by the death of Mr. Gray.” I’d be saddened too being responsible for someone’s death……knowing I had a DIRECT HAND in it!
