Today, ALLBLK, the popular streaming service for Black television and film from AMC Networks, will premiere new drama film, LOLA 2.
Three years following the release of LOLA, film director Antoine Allen delivers a new chapter with LOLA 2. The new installment picks up with champion amateur boxer and lifelong fighter Lola (Taja V. Simpson), now in love and starting a family, as she struggles to give up her championship and leave the ring with her career unfinished.
Cast includes Taja V. Simpson (The Oval), Elise Neal (Hustle & Flow), Tamala Jones (Booty Call), Dreamdoll (Rapper), Jackie Long (ATL), Torrei Hart (Hollywould) and additional cast includes Claressa Shields (BET Her Presents: The Waiting Room), Roy Jones Jr. (Little Fockers) and Akintola Jiboyewa (Monster).
LOLA and LOLA 2 become available on ALLBLK, Thursday,April 6.
