ARLINGTON, Texas — After hiring Jay Z’s Roc Nation to represent him and hopefully help him become “an icon,” Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant said he is willing to discuss a contract extension during the season “if it’s right.”
That’s a change of policy for Bryant, who fired agent Eugene Parker recently. Bryant said this summer that he would cut off negotiations until the offseason if he didn’t reach an agreement with the Cowboys on a contract extension before the regular season started.

I was just wondering if this would help or hurt players. I see the Cowboys owner was mad at him for switching management in the middle of him signing his deal
If he dont mentor, and educate them in finance, and giving back, most of them will go broke in 5years any ways!
Jason, I agree we should but white agents never have and although I do agree it should be done, we can not make him do things other agents dont…
Me my self I would look in a different direction!! For someone who’s better qualified!! And there plate not as full
If u are in a position of power.,u are obligated to mentor!especially if you are black, and the constituents are black as well!! Its about nation building!
Right
Y not, as long as he looking out 4 the best interests of his clients, & aint hustlin these young brothas out they $$
Agents don’t mentor, they usually develop a team to do that but most leagues have it for their players
If he cant help mentor ,other black men in the music industry, trying to follow in his footsteps, how can he help athletes,if he never put on a helmet or cleets??
I think it is cool. No matter what, you have to have a team of attorney’s that specialize in sports, its just his. Even LBJ got into this, get it while you can
