 Atlanta hip hop quartet Goodie Mob changed the rap game in the mid-90s. With distinctive flows backed by dope beats, they helped create a new lane for Southern rappers in a time when New York and LA dominated hip hop. Instead of boasting about what they had or what they did in the streets, the group focused its lyrics on messages of inspiration and social justice. Future Announces New Album ‘Life Is Good’

“It’s about life and being good and just enjoying life,” Future said. “So many tragedies and catastrophes and everything is going on in the world. And you want to enjoy life, as long as you have it.”

The album will be the eighth solo effort for the FBG leader and is a signal to where he currently is in his life.

Meek Mill sends 100,000 masks to prisons

Meek Mill teamed up with Sixers partner Michale Rubin and their criminal justice system to send 100,000 surgical masks to prisons to protect inmates from the coronavirus.

It plans to deliver 2,500 to a Rikers’ medical facility; 40,000 to the Tennessee Department of Corrections; and 5,000 to the Mississippi State Penitentiary, the organization said in a statement.
