NFL REINVENTS PRO BOWL AS ‘THE PRO BOWL GAMES’ PRESENTED BY VERIZON, REPLACES TACKLE GAME WITH FLAG FOOTBALL

The National Football League announced today a transformation of the Pro Bowl, renaming the tentpole event as ‘The Pro Bowl Games.’ Taking place in Las Vegas in 2023, The Pro Bowl Games presented by Verizon will be a week-long celebration of player skills featuring an exciting new format that spotlights Flag football. The multi-day AFC vs NFC competition will culminate in an action-packed Flag game featuring Pro Bowl players at Allegiant Stadium, and will air on ESPN and ABC on Sunday, February 5, 2023. 

Throughout the week, The Pro Bowl Games will also integrate new challenges where players showcase their football and non-football skills in unique competitions. The revamped programming allows the top stars to show off their skills and celebrate their accomplishments in a fun, memorable way, surrounded by their families and fans.

Warner Bros Sets ‘Constantine’ Sequel; Keanu Reeves & Francis Lawrence To Reunite

Warner Bros will develop another installment of the 2005 supernatural thriller Constantine, and the studio is re-teaming star Keanu Reeves and director Francis Lawrence, who made his helming debut on the original.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid-Trailer

The Little Mermaid is an upcoming American musical fantasy film directed by Rob Marshall from a screenplay written by David Magee from a story by Magee, Marshall and John DeLuca. It is a production of Walt Disney Picturesand is a live-action adaptation of the 1989 animated film of the same name, which itself is loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen‘s tale of the same name. It is produced by Rob Marshall, John DeLuca, Marc Platt and Lin-Manuel Miranda, the latter whom co-wrote new songs for the remake as the lyricist, Alan Menken is set to return as the composer for both the score and the songs.

The film will star Halle Bailey, Jonah Hauer-King, Art Malik, Noma Dumezweni, Javier Bardem and Melissa McCarthy, with Daveed Diggs, Jacob Tremblay, and Awkwafina in voice roles.
