Rich Homie Quan Under Investigation by Child Protective Services

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Georgia authorities saw the video of RHQ’s 1-year-old on his lap as he puffed away, and they were alarmed. Child Protective Services and the Fulton County Police Department have now teamed up to investigate.
Our sources say CPS wants to sit down with Quan and ask a slew of questions … notably, what was he smoking? They also want to know if this was a one-off or his standard operating procedure.
Law enforcement tells us the probe goes beyond RHQ’s fitness as a parent … he could face possible criminal charges, including endangering a child and reckless behavior.

SCARFACE WILL RECEIVE THE 2015 “I AM HIP HOP” AWARD AT 2015 BET HIP HOP AWARDS

The “I Am Hip Hop” Award, recognizing legends in hip hop music, returns to honor legendary rapper Scarface. Scarface is undoubtedly one of the most prolific rappers of all time. Hailing from Houston, TX he sharpened his skills growing up listening to Public Enemy and NWA, groups that not only peaked his lyrical delivery but his social consciousness. In 1991, he recorded and released his first big hit, “Mind Playing Tricks On Me,” with the Geto Boys; a song in which Rolling Stone rated as the #5 Best Hip Hop Song ever to be recorded. Scarface went on to deliver twelve stellar and critically acclaimed solo albums with the most recent, Deeply Rooted, debuting in the Top 10 of Soundscan’s Top Albums Sales chart (#8), Top 10 on four Billboard Charts (#2 Rap, #3 Indie, #3 R&B/Hip Hop, #8 Digital) and Top 20 on The Billboard 200 (#11). Scarface recently penned and released his memoirs, Diary of a Madman earlier this year.

Previous “I Am Hip Hop” Award honorees include Doug E. Fresh (2014), MC Lyte (2013), Rakim (2012), LL Cool J (2011), Salt-N-Pepa (2010), Ice Cube (2009), Russell Simmons (2008), KRS-One (2007) and Grandmaster Flash (2006).

‘Empire’ Season 2

TV’s latest, greatest family dynasty that rules the new Empire on FOX returns for a second season. The hip-hop drama outrageously dressed as a primetime soap turned out to be the surprise breakout hit of last season, showing impressive ratings growth every single week. Led by a refreshingly diverse cast, the show has mainstream appeal – and that’s a big deal.

Hackers stole 5.6 million government fingerprints

On Wednesday, the Office of Personnel Management said hackers stole 5.6 million fingerprints it had on file. That’s significantly higher than the agency’s original estimate of 1.1 million fingerprints. This is extremely sensitive information that poses an immediate danger to American spies and undercover law enforcement agents.

As an OPM spokesman told CNNMoney in July: “It’s across federal agencies. It’s everybody.”

Hackers now have a gigantic database of American government employee fingerprints which can be used to positively identify the true identities of those employees.

Anyone with these records could check to see if a diplomat at a U.S. embassy is secretly an employee of an American intelligence agency. That person could then be targeted for arrest or assassination.

Rick Ross facing Lawsuit after Woman said She Was Raped by His Associate

According to TMZ, a ‘Jane Doe’ as she’s being referred to in the lawsuit, claims that she met up with Rick Ross and his entourage at the W hotel in L.A. over Grammy weekend. They were headed to the Canibus Cup. They headed to the marijuana convention in a van– the woman claims Ross was in the van, as Thaddeus “Black” James, a DJ, 3 security guards and the driver. She was handed a drink, which she drank, and after starting to feel dizzy she passed out.
She says she came to, two hours later, and was in the van with Black. She says she then headed to Black’s hotel room, before passing out once more. She woke up the next day at 8 AM, and after a self-exam she realized her clothes had been removed and she was sexually assaulted.
The woman believes Black is the one that raped her, however she’s also holding Ross liable. She says Black is Ross’ agent, and it was Ross’ van, thus he should have been supervising.

Facebook Working on the Dislike Button

Founder and chief executive of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg says that Facebook is developing a ‘dislike’ button for Facebook.“It’s important to give people more options than just ‘like’ to help express empathy and sympathy … Not every moment is a good moment” says Zuckerberg

My initial thoughts were, ‘Who the heck wants to have something they said be disliked?!’ The internet can be a cruel world at times. Trust me, I’m in the media daily so I’ve developed a thick skin to negativity, but sometimes it CAN be a challenge to not come to digital blows with some folk. Apparently I was only echoing the thoughts of a Facebook engineer from 2012 when he responded to why Facebook didn’t have a dislike button:

“While many users love the idea of Facebook adding a dislike button, I don’t think there are many users who are dying to have their own content disliked,” the engineer wrote. “While there are posts where a dislike button could be used to express sympathy or commiseration, I would estimate that the vast majority of its uses will be just ambiguous negativity that would be demoralizing to the poster.”

50 Cent Sued for $200 Million

Johnson claims he sent a copy of his manuscript for Tribulation Of A Ghetto Kid to Nikki Turner at G-Unit Books in 2005. He believes the work eventually got into the hands of 50 and later became the premise for his hit show.
According to the suit, there are several similarities between Power and Tribulation. The main characters each have “goatees” and both project’s central supporting character (Tommy in Power) have short tempers.
