When I heard that this would be different from any other TP movie I had to being a second set of eye with me to view this (Antonio Simmons) and we were both blown away at the first episode. USC’S DELTA TAU DELTA LOST $13,500 TRYING TO BOOK TYGA FOR PARTY
fraternity at the University of Southern California got scammed when they tried to book Tyga and ended up losing $13,500.
According to TMZ, a member of Delta Tau Delta contacted someone whom he believed was Tyga’s rep.
The frat brother booked—or so he thought—the rapper to perform at a party for a fee of $13,500. But the rapper never showed up. When the fraternity tried to contact the guy they booked Tyga through they couldn’t get a response. He disappeared.

Toya Wrights 2 Brothers Murdered
According to multiple reports, Toya Wright’s brothers, Rudy and Josh Johnson, were killed while sitting in their car in New Orleans’ 7th Ward. The New Orleans Police department tweeted about a shooting at the intersection of Pauger & N. Miro in New Orleans, at 1:26am, which is believed to be connected to the shooting involving Rudy and Josh.
Kanye West vs. Apple Music
In a series of posts, the “Famous” rapper commented on the feud between Apple Music and Jay Z’s streaming service, Tidal, attempting to solve the beef over Twitter.
In June, rumors swirled that Apple Music was looking to acquire Tidal. While there hasn’t been any official confirmation of negotiations on either end, according to West, Apple needs to just go ahead and”give Jay his check.”

Parents of child killed in alligator attack are not going to sue Disney
The parents of a child killed by an alligator at a Disney resort in Florida issued a statement Wednesday saying they will not sue the company.
“We know that we can never have Lane back, and therefore, we intend to keep his spirit alive through the Lane Thomas Foundation. It is our hope that through the foundation we will be able to share with others the unimaginable love Lane etched in our hearts,” said Matt and Melissa Graves, the parents of 2-year-old Lane Graves, who died after being dragged away by an alligator at a Disney resort in June.

Area Rapid Transit (DART) officers have been shot in downtown Dallas, according to agency spokesman Morgan Lyons.
“Everyone was screaming, people were running,” she said. “I saw at least probably 30 shots go off.”
“I was walking next to the officer who was helping with the protest, all of a sudden I saw six to eight shots,” one witness told the station. “It looked like two officers went down.”

ALTON STERLING, 37, KILLED BY BATON ROUGE POLICE FOR SELLING CDS
The footage of the killing leaves little room for understanding as to why Sterling, 37, was shot and killed in front of a store in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. According to The Advocate, allegedly an anonymous call was placed to authorities about a man who was selling CDs outside of the Triple S Food Mart who pointed a gun at someone telling them to leave the property. When officials arrived, the man in question was Alton Sterling, a distributor that had sold CDs and DVDs in front of the store for years. No one is exactly sure what happened between the time the officers arrived and when the video footage began, but all witnesses agree that the officers were aggressive with Sterling upon arrival, as Sterling just wanted to understand what he was being detained for. “They were really aggressive with him from the start,” Abdullah Muflahi, the store owner said.

Zonnique Pullins, Tiny’s Daughter, Busted for Carrying Loaded Weapon at Airport
Tameka Harris‘ daughter Zonnique Pullins, was arrested for carrying a concealed handgun though airport security last night. Pullins is rap mogul T.I.‘s stepdaughter.
According to CBS News Atlanta, Pullins, 20, was arrested at 10 p.m. Thursday. She was released at 2 a.m. Friday morning.
Sources say Pullins, affectionately known as “Niq Niq” to family, “forgot” the loaded weapon was in her luggage.
Pullins appeared on VH1’s reality TV show T.I. & Tiny’s Family Hustle. She is best known as the lead singer of the now defunct girl group OMG Girlz.

UPDATE: 50 dead, 53 hospitalized in mass shooting at gay nightclub in Orlando
What we know
A gunman opened fire inside Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Fla., killing approximately 50 people and leaving 53 others hospitalized in the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.
The gunman, who was carrying an assault-style rifle, handgun and possibly an explosive device, is dead after exchanging fire with officers at 5 a.m. He had taken hostages after trying to flee.
The FBI is treating the shooting as an act of terrorism.
The suspect was identified as Omar Mateen, a 29-year-old U.S. citizen whose family is believed to be from Afghanistan. Federal officials are investigating Mateen’s possible ties to radical terror organizations.
Witnesses at the club described a chaotic scene.
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer declared a state of emergency as officials throughout the state asked the public for blood donations.
Rocko Sues Future for $10 Million
According to reports, Rock sued Future citing a 2011 contract he believes Future breached. He says the deal was for Future to make his first six albums with Rocko’s A1 record label. Epic Records signed on to distribute the albums and Future allegedly cut a side deal with the label, which scored him a multi-million dollar advance.
Rocko claims that Future stiffed him for 25%, the commission he’s owed off those Epic advances and he says he’s owed 20% of Future’s earnings from touring and endorsements. Grand total: About $10 million.

Bounce TV will celebrate the incredible life of Muhammad Ali, the global icon who passed away Friday at the age of 74, with a special presentation of The Greatest, the 1977 motion picture in which Ali stars as himself, tomorrow, June 6 at 10:00 p.m. ET / 9:00 p.m. CT.
The Greatest is a dramatization of Ali’s life and starts with his rise to fame winning the heavyweight gold medal at the 1960 Olympic Games, when he was known as Cassius Clay. He then stuns Sonny Liston to become heavyweight champion of the world and soon after converts to Islam and changes his name.
When he is suddenly classified 1A by the Draft Board that earlier rejected him, Ali refuses the draft on religious grounds, which leads to the stripping of his title. Embarking on — and ultimately winning — a nearly four-year long court battle, Ali then returns to the ring and takes part in what many consider some of the greatest fights of all time. Against all odds, he defeats George Foreman in the legendary “Rumble in the Jungle” to win back the heavyweight title.
The Greatest was based on a book written by Ali and others and the boxing footage is largely from the actual fights. The film includes the song The Greatest Love of All, written for the movie and performed by George Benson. It was later remade by Whitney Houston.

Muhammad Ali is flocking to his hospital bedside today as doctors fear that the end is near for the boxing legend.
According to a Mirror report, Ali is currently in intensive care after being admitted to the hospital in what was said to be “fair condition” yesterday. Bob Gunnell, an Ali family spokesman, said in a statement on Thursday that “A brief hospital stay is expected. At this time, the Muhammad Ali family respectfully requests privacy.”

“Bring Out the Lady” Interview with Draya Michele and Rob Riley
Executive producer (Double R Media) Gina Caliste is betting on Atlanta living up to its hype on both the destination of choice for film and the best backdrop to capitalize on black girl magic. Caliste’s new television project, “Bring out the Lady” features socialite Draya Michele as the lead in a storyline that celebrates all things femme fatale in a city filled with scandal, opulence and temptation.
The project is set against the backdrop of Atlanta’s provocative nightlife giving some of the city’s hottest nightclubs co-starring roles throughout the production. “”Bring out the Lady” is the embodiment of everything that has made the Atlanta underground social scene legendary; strip clubs, flashy cars, beautiful women, and inevitably drugs and murder, but we’re telling the story from a female’s perspective,” Caliste explains.

The new Falcons stadium will host Super Bowl 53 in 2019
Atlanta’s new home to the Falcons, which is set to open in 2017, will host Super Bowl LIII, the 53rd Super Bowl.
City officials had remained hopeful that the $1.4 billion Mercedes-Benz Stadium would bring the event back to Georgia since Atlanta hasn’t hosted a Super Bowl since 2000. The new stadium was considered a clear favorite because of its retractable-roof.
Youngstown Pushing for Downtown ‘Lucas’ Museum
City officials are hoping the Force is with them as they make a long-shot effort to persuade legendary filmmaker George Lucas to build his “narrative art museum” downtown.
Lucas – who created the “Star Wars” and Indiana Jones movie franchises – has spent the last three years trying to build the museum in San Francisco and then Chicago, without success. The art collection owned by Lucas and his wife, Melody Hobson, is valued at $1 billion.
The Lucas Museum will celebrate the power of visual storytelling in a setting focused on narrative painting, illustration, photography, film, animation and digital art, according to its website.
Though Lucas is looking to bring the museum proposal back to San Francisco, Youngstown is offering space downtown for the project.
“We’re trying to get his attention,” said Councilman Julius Oliver, D-1st, whose ward includes downtown. “They’re looking for a place to go, and we feel we have the ideal spot.”
The proposed location would be near the Covelli Centre where a proposed riverfront park and amphitheater is to be built next year, Oliver said. The land for the museum would be donated, he said.
“It’s a long shot, but you shoot for the moon,” Oliver said. “If [Lucas] comes here to survey the area and considers Youngstown, that alone would bring a lot of attention to the city,” Oliver said.
Perhaps Lucas would agree to lend some of his art collection to the Butler Institute of American Art, Oliver said.
“That would boost visitors to Youngstown by the thousands,” he said.
Oliver said he was contacted by Eric Planey, a former Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber official who is now a banker in New York City, about asking Lucas to locate the museum to Youngstown.

Soulja Boy’s $400 Million Deal Confirmed
Soulja Boy has a five-year, $400 million deal with World Poker Fund Holdings (WPFH).
Under the agreement, World Poker Fund will utilize Soulja Boy’s 15 million plus followers to promote the different assets the World Poker Fund controls online, including CelebrityWorld.com.
WPFH also has plans to use World Poker Fund to promote their forthcoming gaming platform, which will target over 3 billion plus global travelers who fly with any of the larger airlines.

WE tv hosted a red carpet premiere for season 2 of their reality dating competition “Match Made in Heaven” at the renowned Woodruff Arts Center in the heart of Atlanta. MMIH executive producer and host Sherri Shepherd along with the show’s athlete bachelor Stevie Baggs, Jr. and his mom Lola Robinson were on hand to greet the guests. Trina Braxton also made a special appearance to give attendees a preview of the new season of “Braxton Family Values.”

Guests mingled during the opening cocktail reception which was followed by sneak peeks of “Braxton Family Values” and “Cutting It: In the ATL” and then the premiere screening of “Match Made in Heaven.” Shepherd moderated a brief Q&A with Stevie and Lola, who dished on the upcoming season and encouraged guests to tune in.

RUSSELL SIMMONS AGREES TO PAY OVER $20 MILLION TO RUSHCARD CUSTOMERS
Russell Simmons is ready to right the wrongs of his prepaid debit card company, after a mishap left thousands of customers locked out of their accounts.
RushCard will pay a total of $20.5 million to more than 132,000 customers who said the company glitch left them without access to their funds in a financial bind. According to the Washington Post, $19 million will go toward reimbursing customers for fees and other costs they faced, while the remaining $1.5 million will go toward attorney fees.
Ciara has to Share her Baby
Sources connected to the former couple say Ciara showed up in court asking for sole custody of their 1-year-old son, baby Future. She claimed Future was a bad parent who was not present in the child’s life. We’re told she and her lawyer also trash talked Future to the judge, saying he was a bad person.
For his part, Future showed up and asked for joint custody, and the judge was squarely on his side, rejecting her arguments.
California courts favor joint custody, so the decision was in line with the law.

STARZ Host Panel With Cast of Hit Series ‘Power’
The other night, STARZ hosted a panel discussion for its hit series “Power” at the Arclight Cinemas in Los Angeles. The panel featured cast members Omari Hardwick (James “Ghost” St. Patrick), Lela Loren (Angela Valdes), Naturi Naughton (Tasha St. Patrick), Joseph Sikora (Tommy Egan) and executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson (Kanan) alongside the show’s creator/EP Courtney A. Kemp. Attendees were treated to sneak peek clips from the series’ upcoming season three, which returns July 2016, followed by a moderated Q&A with the cast by New York Magazine/Vulture’s Stacey Wilson Hunt. Queen of Katwe” is the colorful true story of a young girl selling corn on the streets of rural Uganda whose world rapidly changes when she is introduced to the game of chess, and, as a result of the support she receives from her family and community, is instilled with the confidence and determination she needs to pursue her dream of becoming an international chess champion. For 10-year-old Phiona Mutesi (Nalwanga) and her family, life in the impoverished slum of Katwe in Kampala, Uganda, is a constant struggle. Her mother, Harriet (Nyong’o), is fiercely determined to take care of her family and works tirelessly selling vegetables in the market to make sure her children are fed and have a roof over their heads. When Phiona meets Robert Katende (Oyelowo), a soccer player turned missionary who teaches local children chess, she is captivated. Chess requires a good deal of concentration, strategic thinking and risk taking, all skills which are applicable in everyday life, and Katende hopes to empower youth with the game. Phiona is impressed by the intelligence and wit the game requires and immediately shows potential. Recognizing Phiona’s natural aptitude for chess and the fighting spirit she’s inherited from her mother, Katende begins to mentor her, but Harriet is reluctant to provide any encouragement, not wanting to see her daughter disappointed. As Phiona begins to succeed in local chess competitions, Katende teaches her to read and write in order to pursue schooling. She quickly advances through the ranks in tournaments, but breaks away from her family to focus on her own life. Her mother eventually realizes that Phiona has a chance to excel and teams up with Katende to help her fulfill her extraordinary potential, escape a life of poverty and save her family. Disney’s “Queen of Katwe” will open in U.S. theaters on September 23, 2016.
‘SNOW ON THA BLUFF’ STAR INVOLVED IN SWAT STANDOFF
Curtis Snow, best known for the questionable documentary, Snow on tha Bluff, had another run-in with the law following his 94-year-old grandfather’s funeral service.
According to WSB-TV, an argument with another attendee at the funeral caused Snow to barricade himself inside the women’s bathroom of Higher Grown Empowerment Center. The incident took place from about 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. yesterday with officials on the scene.
