The quaint ballroom welcomed guest to the aroma of the delectable buffet spread serviced by celebrity Chef Shawn also featured as the lead chef on the upcoming show. While enjoying lunch guests interacted with Checked Inn’s stars Monique Greenwood and Chef Shawn which later led to a brief yet transparent discussion about the show and her journey to success. The audience was captivated by her courage to leave Essence Magazine as Editor -in -Chief to pursue her dream of becoming the owner and chief operator of her own chain of bed and breakfast.
