#TheSteepleAwards2016The Steeple Awards, Gospel’s newest award show, acknowledges Pastors and Psalmists on all levels. Pastors of mega churches and pastors of smaller ministries are acknowledged together for their great Kingdom work in feeding the hungry, and sheltering the homeless and saving sin-sick souls. Signed, mainstream artists and unsigned, independent artists are honored together for their ministry contributions to the gospel music industry and to the world. In today’s climate of purchasing acknowledgements, we promise that every artist who is known for their ministry commitment in honoring Christ will have their hard work acknowledged without the encumberment of nepotism or favoritism. Pastors and artists are nominated by their congregants, support teams and those who love their ministries. Once nominations are received, the Steeple Award nominations committee researches each nominee by attending services and events, reviewing social media and participating during community service activities.
The Steeple Awards will be in Atlanta this year on March 19th. This awards show will be a gathering place for a night of praise, worship, and honor through the spirit of Christ. The show is being considered “The Biggest Night In Gospel Music”. It is a celebration of Church Leaders and Gospel Artists who has devoted themselves to Christ. Special Invited Guests includes: Tasha Cobbs, Richard Smallwood, Canton Jones, Kelly Price, The Walls Group, Ann Nesby, William Murphy and the cast of Preachers of Atlanta

Due to building regulation where Flowhub is located, staff aren’t allowed to smoke, so instead they use sodas, juices and other edibles.

We live in a brave, new world. A world where you can love and marry whomever you like, A Black Man and a woman can become Presidents, and where the image of a boss has changed dramatically! Whereas just thirty years ago, the typical boss was older, Caucasian, and male; nowadays bosses come in all ages, races, and women are making some ferocious fiscal gains in the business world. Nowadays a boss chick may seem as common as an Uber driver, but that is where you would be wrong; as a real businesswoman knows it is her moves and gains that dictate her time and passion. No boss chick seems to grasp this like Angela Simmons. Angela is a young woman wearing many hats, and she surprisingly is able to manage them all! “It’s all about time management and doing what you have to do…you make a decision that this is what’s got to get done and get right to it…”
Angela Simmons is nothing short of amazing an exceptional. She is a self-described and proven master multitasker and all around great person. Whereas being in business and the entertainment industry can dim one’s outlook on life, this lovely lady has let her own inner light and great work ethic build brands that reach millions. One might argue her success is largely attributed to the famous family she comes from which boasts her father, Rev Run, and uncle, Russell Simmons. The world was officially introduced to Angela via MTV’s hit reality series, Run’s House, where she alongside her parents and siblings made their mark as one of TV’s most beloved families. Later, she and her older sister, Vanessa, gained their own spinoff in Daddy’s Little Girls as they moved cross country to pursue their own dreams, ambitions, and lives beyond their father’s shadow. “I’ve definitely learned a lot from them [her father and uncle]…honestly how could I not? They know so much about business and the industry and I’m really blessed to have that kind of wisdom in my life…”

About The Rap Game
The next big rap star is about to be unleashed beginning New Year’s Day when five emerging young hip hop artists, ages 12 to 16 years old, are given the opportunity to rhyme and flow with highly sought after producer, Jermaine Dupri in the all-new unscripted series, “The Rap Game” (#TheRapGame). These young rappers will be immersed in the Atlanta hip hop scene with Dupri at the helm as their mentor. Queen Latifah and her partner Shakim Compere will executive produce under the Flavor Unit umbrella along with Dupri on the series that will air Fridays at 10 PM ET/PT. Each week, special guests such as Usher, Ludacris, Da Brat, T.I. and Silentó will join Dupri to help mold the kids into the next big, young rap star.
Queen Latifah is hailed as the First Lady of Hip Hop. She changed the landscape for women in the rap game by creating epic songs full of female empowerment. She went on to become one of the most successful women within the world of hip hop as well as outside. She has garnered an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress, a Golden Globe® nomination, a Golden Globe win, a SAG Award® nomination, a SAG Award win, two Emmy® Award nominations, one Emmy win and six Grammy® nominations as well as a Grammy Award.
With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Dupri knows what it takes to succeed. Having worked with some of the biggest young talents in the music including Bow Wow, Da Brat, Kris Kross and TLC, he has a proven track record of cultivating young talent and making them into stars. With high expectations, Dupri gives it his all – and expects nothing less from the kids and their parents in return. It’s anyone’s game on who will walk away with a record contract with his label, So So Def Recordings.
“The Rap Game” artists include:
Lil’ Niqo, 15, San Diego, CA – Lil’ Niqo has been making music history since he was 10. He was the youngest rapper signed to Island Def Jams and was a correspondent for BET and MTV’s red carpets. Lil’ Nigo also appeared on the drama, The Finder, working alongside 50 Cent, Michael Clarke Duncan and Jacob Latimore. With his “momager” Nique by his side, there’s no stopping Lil’ Niqo’s path to success.
Lil’ Poopy, 12, Brockton, MA – The youngest in the group, Lil’ Poopy has made over 200 videos, writes his own songs and has performed with Puff Daddy, Rick Ross and French Montana. His father and mentor, Luis Rivera, Sr. will do anything to see his son rise to the top – including hiring the hottest models and renting out Ferraris for his son’s music videos.
Miss Mulatto, 16, Atlanta, GA – Miss Mulatto began her career performing at birthday parties and has since made a name for herself in the Atlanta music scene. Her mom, Misti, is always by her side at competitions, despite finding it difficult to infiltrate the tight-knit social circle.
Supa Peach, 12, Atlanta, GA – With a unique style highlighted by her signature cape, Supa Peach raps, sings, dances and models. Sure of daughter’s profound talent, Josetta has moved her family from the Virgin Islands to give her daughter everything she needs to launch her rap career.
Young Lyric, 15, Houston, TX – Young Lyric’s hip hop career began when a video of her rapping went viral. She recorded her first song at seven and was named the “Best 14 Year Old Rapper” by WorldStarHipHop.com viewers. Her parents, Olivia and Mitchell, will do whatever it takes to get her to the next level and believe she’s on the brink of superstardom.
Produced by Intuitive Entertainment, “The Rap Game” is executive produced by Mechelle Collins and Kevin Dill (“Atlanta Plastic” and “The Millionaire Matchmaker”), showrunner Sean Rankine (“Basketball Wives”), Laura Fuest Silva (“America’s Next Top Model”) and Chris Deaux (“Rods and Wheels”) in addition to Dupri, Latifah and Compere. Lifetime’s Eli Lehrer, Mary Donahue and Mariana Flynn also executive produce. Filmed in Atlanta, eight episodes have been ordered for this season.
Bill Cosby arrived in court today after he was charged with alleged aggravated indecent assault earlier this morning by the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office in Pennsylvania.
The comedian, 78, entered the courtroom in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, around 2:30 p.m., walking arm-in-arm with his legal team. He will next appear in court on Jan. 14 and his bail was set at $1 million for the second-degree felony counts against him.
Cosby’s passport was also turned over to the court and he did not enter a plea.
The reality star posted a picture to Instagram on Monday of her new backside following a butt reduction.
“Betsy is smaller, but she still makes a statement,” she captioned the photo. “Sometimes less is more. Not finished yet, but feeling liberated getting back to myself.”
In subsequent tweets, he apologized to viewers of the live pageant, saying that his announcing Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez as ultimate winner was “an honest mistake.”
At the very end of the telecast Sunday, Harvey mixed up the names of Gutierrez and Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach. The error wasn’t addressed until after Gutierrez had already been outfitted with the Miss Universe crown and sash; Harvey had to stop her during her winning walk in order to rectify the situation.

Former Oklahoma City police officer Daniel Holtzclaw has been convicted of sexually assaulting 13 women. He will most likely spend the rest of his life in prison.
Over the course of the trial, a horrifying picture emerged of Holtzclaw using his status as a cop to assault and intimidate at least 13 black women living in one of Oklahoma City’s poorest neighborhoods. He chose his victims for their criminal records and counted on the fact that women with open warrants or previous convictions for drugs or prostitution would be too scared to report his crimes.
Holtzclaw’s reign of terror came to an end after a 57-year-old grandmother he assaulted in June of 2014 bravely reported him to the very same police force that employed him. Being a Cleveland Cavalier’s fan isn’t so bad these days, but back in the summer of 2010 times were a little tougher. That was the year that LeBron James decided to take his “talents to South Beach,” leaving fans stunned. Cleveland fans were so outraged by their hometown hero’s sudden departure that many resulted to destroying James’ gear. In addition to burning jerseys, some fans gave away even more precious James’ memorabilia. One fan was so upset that he actually got rid of his game worn Nike LeBron IIs, which ultimately ended up in a thrift store in Youngstown, OH.

Creed, Rocky Balboa is a supporting player and retired, training the son of his former boxing opponent/trainer Apollo Creed. This spin-off was conceived by Fruitvale Station director Ryan Coogler, and he brought his own personal inspiration and love for the boxing series into the new film. The Rocky franchise made a home for itself during the Thanksgiving frame with the first installment in 1976, followed by sequels Rocky IV and V which also played during the holiday stretch. 2006’s Rocky Balboa was the last title in the MGM series and it opened over the pre-Christmas frame to $26.7M over five-days and a final cume of $70.3M. However, there’s a special word of mouth percolating around Creed. The film has a glowing Rotten Tomatoes score of 94%, which will dynamite those adults out of their post-Thanksgiving dinner naps. Creed‘s estimated production cost is $37M-$38M with MGM covering 50% of that, WB/New Line 37.5% and RatPac 12.5%. Currently, Creed is expected to ring up $35M over five-days and a FSS in the $20M range, but it wouldn’t be surprising if it beats those figures.
