Steve Harvey crowns wrong woman Miss Universe

In subsequent tweets, he apologized to viewers of the live pageant, saying that his announcing Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez as ultimate winner was “an honest mistake.”
At the very end of the telecast Sunday, Harvey mixed up the names of Gutierrez and Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach. The error wasn’t addressed until after Gutierrez had already been outfitted with the Miss Universe crown and sash; Harvey had to stop her during her winning walk in order to rectify the situation.

Daniel Holtzclaw convicted of rape, sentenced to life in prison

Former Oklahoma City police officer Daniel Holtzclaw has been convicted of sexually assaulting 13 women. He will most likely spend the rest of his life in prison.
Over the course of the trial, a horrifying picture emerged of Holtzclaw using his status as a cop to assault and intimidate at least 13 black women living in one of Oklahoma City’s poorest neighborhoods. He chose his victims for their criminal records and counted on the fact that women with open warrants or previous convictions for drugs or prostitution would be too scared to report his crimes.
Holtzclaw’s reign of terror came to an end after a 57-year-old grandmother he assaulted in June of 2014 bravely reported him to the very same police force that employed him. Sex crimes detective Kim Davis began to investigate and discovered a systematic pattern of abuse of women ranging in age from 17 to 57. Both DNA evidence and GPS logs from Holtzclaw’s police vehicle backed up many of the victims’ claims.

A Pair of Game Worn Nike Lebron’s Ended Up in a Thrift Store in Youngstown, Oh

Being a Cleveland Cavalier’s fan isn’t so bad these days, but back in the summer of 2010 times were a little tougher. That was the year that LeBron James decided to take his “talents to South Beach,” leaving fans stunned. Cleveland fans were so outraged by their hometown hero’s sudden departure that many resulted to destroying James’ gear. CREED

Creed, Rocky Balboa is a supporting player and retired, training the son of his former boxing opponent/trainer Apollo Creed. This spin-off was conceived by Fruitvale Station director Ryan Coogler, and he brought his own personal inspiration and love for the boxing series into the new film. The Rocky franchise made a home for itself during the Thanksgiving frame with the first installment in 1976, followed by sequels Rocky IV and V which also played during the holiday stretch. 2006’s Rocky Balboa was the last title in the MGM series and it opened over the pre-Christmas frame to $26.7M over five-days and a final cume of $70.3M. However, there’s a special word of mouth percolating around Creed. The film has a glowing Rotten Tomatoes score of 94%, which will dynamite those adults out of their post-Thanksgiving dinner naps. Creed‘s estimated production cost is $37M-$38M with MGM covering 50% of that, WB/New Line 37.5% and RatPac 12.5%. Currently, Creed is expected to ring up $35M over five-days and a FSS in the $20M range, but it wouldn’t be surprising if it beats those figures.

Erica Campbell Believes Being Transgender or Gay Is a Sin

Speaking to TeamCurtains.com, the singer took the long way around to homophobia by saying that while she doesn’t believe it’s her place to judge anyone, the Bible says that being LGBT is a sin. “I believe sin is sin and it exists and God forgives it just like everything else.” Wow, must be tough for someone to live their authentic life and be told their very nature is a “sin.” But she also has a strategy for how to deal with the sinners: open the church doors to them and “let God do the saving.”
“Keep sharing, keep loving, keep opening the doors of our churches, keep embracing and let God do the changing,” Campbell explained. “I think a lot of times we try to be God. We try to make the change. Everybody has an issue. Sometimes people’s [issue] is a little more flamboyant than others. Maybe yours is lying and we can’t see your issue. We all have something to work on. My job is to love, not to judge.”

Tamar Braxton Cancels Tour Dates and DWTS after Blood Clots Found

With a Heavy heart I regret to inform you that my season of #dwts has to come to an end along with the rest of my tour dates with @musicbykem. After yesterday’s final #dwts performance I went back to the hospital (after the doctors didn’t want me to leave in the first place) only to find out that I don’t have pneumonia but something way more serious and that is having several P.E.’s (blood clots in both sides of my lungs) As you all know I will be the first to always encourage anyone to push through any obstacle that comes along one’s way. But in this case, my health is my current obstacle. .. And in TRUE #tamartian form I must go about this the exact same way as I would anything else. I woke up to a mirror and saw myself this morning and that makes me the winner because that almost wasn’t the case. 🏆Take care of yourselves… I love you and thank you ALL for your support❤️

POLICE RAID LIL WAYNE’S MIAMI BEACH MANSION

Lil Wayne got the kick-door treatment from the police yesterday when his Miami Beach mansion was raided by Miami-Dade police after a court order allowed the authorities to seize items on his property. Wayne, real name Dwayne Carter, was sued by project jet leasing company Signature Group for $1 Million last year after he used the services of the company but failed to make all of the payments.
As over a year has passed since non-payment and additional late fees, the settlement ballooned to $1.8 Million. A judge ruled in September of this year that Lil Wayne had to fork over the $1.8 Million, plus $200,000 in lawyer fees that the plaintiffs had to spend but he has yet to make a payment. God Gave me an Assignment but I can’t stop feeding my flesh

God gave me an assignment but I can’t stop feeding my flesh long enough to commit to it.

God told me to get busy but I know he’ll understand that I have to get these Jordans this Friday so this will push my assignment back a little bit.

God gave me my assignment but I have to go out and eat every weekend so I won’t be able to commit to the task that he gave me.

God gave me my assignment but my kids also want those new shoes and they can’t be wearing any old stuff that’s not name brand so I hope God will understand that I can’t invest in that thing he showed me in my dream.

God gave me my assignment but I haven’t been to Paris yet and I keep seeing these photos of my friends in FB that travels the world and I would love to see how it feels.

God gave me my assignment but Christmas is right around the corner and God will understand that I have to drop some serious cheese in my family and kids or they might think that I don’t love them so I’ll just get started on his work next year!

God gave me my assignment but my friends will think that I’m crazy if they see me falling off because I’m known to be super sharp and dressed nice all the time and I would hate to have to cut my budget from kicking it to do his work!

Hey God do you have any FREE assignments that won’t cost me anything because I think that is a better job for me and my family!

My 5th Anniversary of Being Weed Free

5 years of being weed free and I feel great! I thank God for releasing me from my weed addiction. I wasn’t sick or I wasn’t smoking weed to deal with chronic pain, I was abusing it. I would get high watch my mind wonder off into places I had no business being! Plus the places that God is sending me has no room for my weed habit. I battled for weeks when I tried to quit and that’s how I know it was an addiction. One day I asked God to take the TASTE out of my mouth and I havent desired it since! If you are dealing with this issue just hit me up and let’s talk.

Jay Z’s “Big Pimpin” Case Thrown Out Of Court

Victory for Jay-Z and Timbaland in the case where they were sued for a sample of a flute they used in “Big Pimpin.’” Los Angeles Judge, Christina Snyder, ruled this week that the suit brought forth by the Osama Fahmy, the nephew of Baligh Hamdi, for the 1957 song “Khosara Khosara” was not feasible as Hamdi, the nephew, did not have the right to pursue a lawsuit in the case. Timbaland revealed last week during the trial that he had paid a EMI Arabia $100,000 for the rights of the flute sample. Hamdi tried to sue based on morals about the songs content which he stated would have appalled his uncle who wrote the love song originally for a movie. The case was originally opened in 2007. The lawyer for Mr Fahmy, Keith Wesley, was dissatisfied with the ruling and stated: ‘We strongly disagree with the ruling and we fully intend to appeal.’
