The Best Man’ limited series starring original cast in the works

The star-studded cast from The Best Man and The Best Man Holiday is set to return, including Sanaa Lathan, Morris Chestnut, Melissa De Sousa, Harold Perrineau, Regina Hall, Terrence Howard, Nia Long and Taye Diggs. Monica Calhoun is the only cast member that will be missing from the series because her character passed away from cancer in the film’s sequel.

According to Deadline, Peacock ordered a 10-episode limited series called “The Best Man: Final Chapters.” Malcolm D. Lee, the movies’ director and writer, is teaming up with former “Insecure” executive producer Dayna Lynne North to bring the series to life.

11-Year-Old Boy Leads Cops on High-Speed Chase in Stolen School Bus

The chase lasted nearly 45 minutes as authorities say the boy taunted and flipped them off. Things ended after the boy crashed into a tree in a residential area but not before he hit three vehicles along the way. But questions still remain about how exactly the boy got hold of the bus keys and how he managed to drive the vehicle considering his height. Nevertheless, the unidentified child was charged with theft of a vehicle, aggravated flight, damage to property and aggravated assault.

19 Black Families BUY 90-PLUS ACRES FOR SAFE LIVING

More than a dozen Black families came together for a common cause in Georgia — snatching up a bunch of land to start their own community, which they hope will be a safe haven.

The nearly 97 acres of unincorporated land recently purchased near the town of Toomsboro — about 130 miles south of Atlanta — has now been dubbed Freedom, GA … and the 19 Black families that went in on the land are hoping to make it a complete city one step at a time.

According to documents, Norman, who owns Sweetie Pies restaurant, took out a $450,000 life insurance policy on Montgomery in 2014. New Law Makes it a Felony to Assault Workers Enforcing COVID-19 Mask Rules

Illinois governor, J.B. Pritzker, passed a law last week that allows individuals assaulting workers enforcing the use of masks to be prosecuted for aggravated battery. In Illinois, aggravated battery is typically a felony.

I’m “This provision sends the message that it’s vitally important for workers to be both respected and protected while serving on the front lines,” said the governor’s office in a statement on the new law, which went into effect immediately.

VH1’s “Love & Listings” creators have been greenlit to start production on a new reality show featuring celebrity real estate professionals in Atlanta. Currently referred to as “Hollywood Of The South,” the show will showcase these luxury real estate experts buying and selling the best estates that metro Atlanta has to offer to their celebrity clients

The men behind the new Atlanta-based show are real estate moguls Tai Savet and Sean Matthews who hit gold when “Love & Listings” premiered its first season last year on Vh1. The show is currently in its second season.
